Adventures in Teaching

For four years, I taught three classes at the University of South Florida: International Human Rights, Ideologies of the World and Conflict in the Modern World. Often, I used original materials I had written or edited. I met some amazing students, some whom I mentored, who have remained friends to this day.

I loved the great kids at Duke Ellington School of the Arts. I taught World History, U.S History, U.S Government and Women's Issues during my four years there. Our end-of-the-year lobbying project for the U.S Government project was so effective one year the Mayor's office shut us down!
